Kings XI Punjab - Team Statistics and Schedule

The charismatic Punjab team is back in action again! Through its incarnation in the form of Kings XI Punjab, the state has got more than an opportunity to exhibit its vibrancies. With the most flamboyant Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh to lead the side and the most beautiful dimple cheeks actress Preity Zinta as owner, what more could have one asked for. The team boasts of a formidable batting line up with Yuvraj Singh as the person who has caught the imagination of cricketing world with his six sixes in an over.


Kings XI Punjab performance last year:


With overall 10 wins, the team finished second behind Rajasthan Royals. The team not only had top scoring batsmen, but also the best NRR to complete the game with. When It comes to bowling, Kings XI Punjab had 3 bowlers- Piyush Chawla, Sreeshanth and Irphan Pathan in top ten wicket takers list. Kings XI Punjab showed an all round performance and deservedly got the second rank in IPL Season 1.

IPL season 2 could be tough for Kings XI Punjab, with Marsh and Lee missing, the team looks pretty weak… But wait a minute, did I miss what Yuvraj can do to any team?
